Nursing & Midwifery Studies
School of Nursing and Midwifery
Our purpose is to educate students to be the best in their field, to advance knowledge through research and to contribute to the development of the healthcare system. To make it easier for registered nurses to access our programmes we offer them through blended learning. Blended learning means a “blend” of online and face-to-face teaching. For each module you take, you will attend 2 days of workshops, the rest is online. During the programme, you will have the support of an academic advisor and lecturer who you can contact and who will provide guidance when necessary. If you're not tech-friendly, you will be supported. You can also build your own individualised postgraduate programmes over time using Professional Credit Award (PCA) modules.
Professional Credit Award (PCA)
Each PCA module stands on its own so you can do just one or you can gain an exemption for the module if you continue your studies at postgraduate level.
A full list of modules is available here: Professional Credit Award Modules
